It’s rooted in real world Old Bohemian in the Czech Republic but with re-imagined history, historical figures and places. It follows the story of a young girl named Kamaria as she struggles to find a place in her world, especially since she’s not human. The excerpt you have here is from a late chapter where Kamaria decides she must save herself. Refusing to bend to the will of a man any further, she releases all the rage she’s held within.
