OverSouls: Demon Eater by Marie LeBlank

Demon cultivation meets YA fantasy in OVERSOULS: Demon Eater. A coming-of-age story set in a walled off citadel plagued by demons. A young girl, born with a dim soul core, must feed her inner darkness in order to survive the demons inside the hungry capital, guarded by royal exorcists and holy inquisitors, not to mention the sick and twisted creatures haunting the backstreets. Worst of them is the Demon Eater: a mentally unstable demon cultivator who becomes obsessed with forcing Aura’s inner darkness out into the light.
