Worldbuilding: Piqued curiosity
Plot: Straightforward Characters: Roles are clear
Storytelling: Minimalistic
Immersion: Satisfying, fulfilling experience Emotional Response: Engaging
Thought Provoking: New ideas came up
Cover: Matches the story well Content Warnings: emotional abuse, miscarriage, reanimated corpses Loved the magic system, having an elderly female protagonist and how the story twists the 'evil necromancer' trope backwards to something positive. The writing is simplistic which was a bit of an issue for me, but it was still a fun read. |
