When a mysterious corpse is found on the outskirts of Rocket Ridge, a face blind FBI linguist travels to the small Arizona town to resume his search for an elusive killer. Agent Franklin Ink must work with the small town sheriff's department and a Navajo police officer to uncover the truth, all while hiding the fact that he's not acting on behalf of the bureau. Soon, he will find out that he's not the only one keeping secrets. The Pale is a character driven murder mystery which has often been compared to shows like True Detective, Fargo, and Twin Peaks.
