The Feast of the Innocents by Colin Harker
Worldbuilding: Aided the story
Plot: Straightforward Characters: Roles are clear
Storytelling: Descriptive
Immersion: Didn’t want to put the book down Emotional Response: Strong emotions
Thought Provoking: New ideas came up
Cover: Adequately represents the story A real page turner. I usually have to do a bit of effort to get into the book, but in this case it was instant. I spent a whole week reading it from front to back. It plays out like a Baroque opera, but for horror instead of drama. Excellent, would definitely recommend |
